Statement about the federal district court's decision to dismiss BSL-3 facility lawsuit

We are very pleased that the federal district court has determined that the Department of Energy's environmental assessment for the Laboratory's BSL-3 facility was adequate and appropriate. This decision will allow us to proceed with developing advanced biodetection technologies that are important to protect the American people against bioterrorism.
