Discovery Center
The Discovery Center at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) provides in-person and virtual visitors with a window into our science and technology. Our exhibits are designed to excite the next generation of researchers about new innovations and the work that we do at the Lab.
The Discovery Center is open noon to 4 p.m. on weekdays and is closed on major holidays. The Discovery Center offers free Fun with Science field trips to 5th grade students from local elementary schools. Discovery Center Info
The Discovery Center is at the Laboratory’s East Gate off Greenville Road.
Visitors to the Discovery Center are required to check-in with the Discovery Center receptionist.
- U.S. citizens 18 years or older: A government-issued photo ID is required.
- Foreign nationals 18 years or older: A passport or legal permanent residence card is required.
