Lab scientist to participate in panel discussion

Julio Friedmann, head of the Lab's carbon capture program, will participate in a panel discussion this Thursday, Jan. 6, after the free Bay Area film premiere of the Center for Investigative Reporting documentary, "Dirty Business: 'Clean Coal' and the Battle for our Energy Future.

The documentary also features an interview with Friedmann and other carbon capture experts. The screening will be held at the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Theater, 2150 Allston Way, Berkeley

A reception will start at 6 p.m., the screening at 6:30 p.m. and the panel discussion with Friedmann, the filmmaker peter Bull and Rainforest Action Network Executive Director Rebecca Tarbotton will start at 8 p.m.
