John H. Marburger III, Science Advisor to The President and Director, Office of Science and Technology Policy

What: Marburger will make his first visit to LLNL for an overview of a number of the Lab’s science programs and technologies. In addition, he will speak to all Lab employees as part of LLNL Director C. Bruce Tarter’s "Distinguished Lecture Series."

Following the lecture, he will speak with members of the press.

Marburger III is the director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) for the Executive Office of The President, providing scientific and technological analysis and judgement to The President with respect to major policies, plans and programs of the federal government.
