Media advisory: EYH Conference

WHO: Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC, Sandia National Laboratories and the University of the Pacific School of Engineering and Computer Science will co-sponsor the 21st annual San Joaquin Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) conference. See the Website for more information.

WHAT: The popular daylong conference introduces girls in grades 6-12 to a variety of challenging careers and will encourage their interest in mathematics and science.

This year, more than 500 participants will attend three hands-on workshops and interact with scientists and engineers who often have an impact on the choices these students make about their future.

WHEN: Saturday, October 5, 2013, 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m.
