Payal Singh

I have interned at the lab for the past two summers, so this will be my third summer here! Ever since my first summer here, I have felt very supported. My first summer, I interned in DTED and worked on the proof-of-concept of an experiment that would eventually fly on a sounding rocket the next year. The next summer, I supported a project in MED where we used microspheres to detect different gaseous environments. This summer, I am interning in CED and working on NIF diagnostics. I have been all around the lab and Bay Area and been able to meet all kinds of interesting people because of working here. Everyone here is very knowledgeable, and it is a pleasure to work with such educated and kind people!
