Clarence "Pete" Davis

Clarence “Pete” Davis, a resident of Livermore and a former electronics engineer at the Lab, died June 11 after a long battle with cancer. He was 62.

Davis was born in Sacramento on June 6, 1946. He moved to Livermore in 1967 from Roseville and began his career at the Lab where he worked as an electronics engineer for 38 years. He was responsible for safety and communications.

Davis’ passion was being an instructor at the Las Positas Community College for 15 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Davis Sr. and Elsie Scott Davis. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Davis; and his sister and brother-in-law, Sidney Ann and Harlan Tougaw.

At his request there will be no public services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
