Christine Helen Rapp

Christine Helen Rapp of Livermore died Feb. 23. She was 66.

Rapp was born on March 6, 1948 in San Francisco, California to Paul and Helen Gallegos. The Gallegos family moved to Fremont in 1963, where Rapp attended Washington High School. Later in life Christine moved to Livermore, which was her home for more than 30 years. Much of Christine's career was spent working as an electrical coordinator for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Rapp lived a beautiful life. She adored her family, especially her precious grandchildren. She loved family gatherings, spending summers on her houseboat on Lake McClure, weekends at the coast, and she was passionate about her quilting. She was a member of Amador Valley Quilt Guild, Jo's Club and the Monday Group at In Between Stitches.

Rapp was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Helen Gallegos, sister Rita Faria, brothers Larry and Anthony Gallegos. She is survived by her husband of 26 years John Rapp of Livermore; children, Colleen Lomolino of Sonora, Yvette Perez of Tracy, Christopher Herrera of Tracy, and Stepson Brian Rapp of Livermore; siblings, Lori Scott of San Ramon, Lynnette Gomez of Livermore, as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Monday, March 2 at 11:30 a.m. at Callaghan's Mortuary 3833 East Ave., Livermore, with a reception to follow at Hilton Garden Inn, 2801 Constitution Dr., Livermore. All are welcome to attend.
