Willie H. Lane

Willie H. Lane, a 47-year Tracy resident, died Dec. 23 at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. He was 92.

Lane, a native of Hamon, Ky., worked on submarines as an electrician during World War II and helped install Titan 1 and 2 missile silos during the Cold War. He worked 18 years for the Laboratory. He was a member of the Masons and Shriners.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Lane, and his wife, Susan, of Tracy; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Pauline Lane.

Graveside services were conducted this week at Tracy Cemetery.
