William A. Aceves

William A. Aceves of Livermore died July 25. He was 86.

Born in El Paso, Texas on July 31, 1927, Aceves was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and lived in Livermore with his family since 1953.

He gave 37 years of service to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where he worked as an MMED supervisor.

He is survived by daughter, Susan Aceves of Tracy; son, Randy Aceves and wife, Chrystal of Livermore; son, William R. Aceves and fiancée, Sheila of Oakland, and other family in Benicia, Los Angeles and El Paso.

Visitation will be at Callaghan Mortuary Chapel on Monday, Aug. 4 from 5-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at Callaghan Mortuary, 3833 East Ave., Livermore. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Livermore.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Aceves’ name to the East Bay SPCA.
