Sue Harvey Stacy
Sue (Harvey) Stacy died April 30. She was 83.
Stacy was born on Aug. 15, 1939 in Kansas to parents Vesta and Ernie Bennett. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Redlands, California. She was hired at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) in the office of staff relations as an administrative specialist II in July 1984 and worked her way up to an administrative specialist IV, before retiring for the first time in Oct. 1999. She was rehired at LLNL into the physical and life sciences organization, in Jan. 2002 where she worked until she retired for the final time in Aug. 2014.
She leaves behind her daughter Diane Harvey (Arleigh), son-in-law Mike, grandsons Jared (Lauren) and Jeremy (Bobbi-Ann) and great grandchildren Chayton, Cherri-Ann, and Chase as well as a large extended family and many friends who were like family to her. She was preceded in death by her daughters JoAnn and Patricia, her husband Tom, and ex-husband James.
Friends are welcome to join her family for a celebration of her life on Saturday, June 3, at 11 a.m., at the clubhouse at the Las Positas golf course, 915 Club House Drive, Livermore.
