Pauline Wilson

Pauline Wilson, a Lab retiree, died Jan. 14 in Merced, Calif. She was 80.

Born June 24, 1931 to Frank and Eva Miczo, Wilson was raised in Mt. Jewett, Pa. and then later moved to California where she lived in Pleasanton more than 40 years. She lived in Merced for the past four years.

Wilson worked at the Lab as an administrative assistant for more than 20 years.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She is survived by her husband, Ben Corbett Wilson; children, David Glenn Wilson of Pleasanton, Eva Marie Smith of Merced and Stephen James Wilson of Oakland; sisters, Margaret Allard of Fairview, Pa., Helen Miczo of Erie, Pa, and Martha Leon of Orangevale, Calif.; five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

A dedication of the grave will be held on Friday, Jan. 20, at 10:30 a.m. at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 West McCabe Road, Santa Nella, Calif. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 6100 Paseo Santa Cruz, Pleasanton.
