Patrick Barry
Patrick E. Barry of Pleasant Hill died Oct. 4. A fifth generation Californian, he worked at the Lab for more than 40 years.
Born in Westwood to William and Lois Barry, he received a master's degree in chemistry and taught at Los Medanos College.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lois Barry.
He is survived by his two children, Lisa and Eric; grandson, Darrin Barry; sisters, Colleen and Sheila, and his partner of 40 years, Paula Markham.
A celebration of his life will be held at Christ the King Church in Pleasant Hill, Oct. 27 at 10 a.m.
