Joseph Michael Brown

Lab retiree Joseph Michael Brown died June 8 in Lathrop, Calif. He was 64.

Brown was born Sept. 26, 1945, in Stockton. He lived in Lathrop for five years and had previously lived in Tracy.

He retired from the Lab as a maintenance supervisor. He was a member of the Light House Light of the World Christian Church, where he served as a deacon. He enjoyed hunting, shooting trap, watching John Wayne movies and gardening.

Brown is survived by his wife of 16 years, Patricia Brown of Lathrop; his children, Tammy Burns and her husband Clint of Tracy; Michelle Cebreros and her husband Frank of Manteca; Travis Brown of Lathrop; grandchildren Kacey Leeann Burns, Frankie Cebreros, Isabella Cebreros and Madelynn Cebreros; brother Manuel Brown of Tracy, and good friend Marsha Beavers.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. June 14 at the Tracy Public Cemetery, 600 E. Schulte Road, Tracy.
