Jill Sandusky-Sprinkle

Jill Sandusky-Sprinkle died July 19 in Fremont, Calif. She was 70.

Born in Los Angeles, Calif., March 21, 1942, to Guilford Sandusky and Ruth Binswanger, she graduated from the California School for the Deaf in Riverside in 1962 and from Gallaudet University in 1967.

She also furthered her education by attending the Helen Keller National Center.

She retired from LLNL in 1999. She was a member of the American Association of the Deaf-Blind, the National Consortium of Deaf-Blindness, and supported several deaf and deaf-blind organizations.

She is survived by her sister, Marsha Sandusky-Wilt and her husband, Robert Wilt.

Inurnment was conducted at Valley Isle Memorial Park and Cemetery in Wailuku, Hawaii.
