Jean Webb-Sherrell

Jean Webb-Sherrell, of Las Vegas, Nev., a Lab retiree, died Dec. 11. She was 72.

Born March 16, 1937, in Lake Providence, La., she was a 53-year resident of Nevada.

Webb-Sherrell was employed with REECO, and then at the Nevada Test Site for 29 years. From there, she went into the photo department and then worked at LLNL until she retired in 1994. She next went to work at the Regency Plaza for two years.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star-Las Vegas, and of Singers United in Christ.

She is survived by her two sons, Steve Ward of Los Angeles, and Travis Lee Webb Jr. of Las Vegas; daughters, Jacqueline Adamson and Stacey M. Lewis, both of Las Vegas; four sisters; three brothers; and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, William Richard Adamson; mother and father; one sister; and husband, Robert Sherrell.

Services will be held Dec. 20 in Las Vegas, Nev.
