Jack R. Keef

Keef was born Sept. 1, 1947 to John and Margaret Keef in Los Angeles, Calif. He was a United States Veteran proudly serving his country through the Army. He worked for the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for 17 years as a contractor. He was a member of the Laborers union and was a member of Cornerstone Church in Manteca.

Keef was a hot rod enthusiast. He belonged to Nuts & Bolts and Wheels of Woodbridge, where he was most proud of showcasing his 55 Chevy Sedan Delivery. His creativity and passion took him to create a custom car called "Stage Fright" that was to be displayed in a museum in Los Angeles after touring Europe and later was replicated into a Hot Wheels collectable.

Keef's infectious good humor was felt by everyone. He loved his family beyond belief and cherished his grandchildren. He made many friends throughout the years that he held close to his heart. He will be remembered for his impeccable smile, his originality and for being the best husband, father and grandfather. Keef is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Annette Keef; children, Cindy (Mick) Hardenbrook, Debbie (Bill) Franks and Carl (Jewely) Keef; siblings, Bill Keef and Joann Sudduth; and nine grandchildren.

A celebration of life memorial was recently held at Cornerstone Church, 17900 Comconex Road, Manteca, Calif. For condolences to the family, visit his online guestbook. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
