Frances Margaret McCuistion Robinson

Frances Margaret McCuistion Robinson, a former Lab employee and Turlock resident, died June 10. She was 91.

Born March 13, 1922, in Millville, Mo., Robinson was the daughter of Charles and Margaret McCuistion, sister to Max and Edna Mode. After early years on the family farm in Millville, she attended high school in Richmond, Mo., where she was an honors student, a cheerleader and played French horn in the band. After college, she became an executive secretary in Kansas City. At 22, she met the love of her life, Edward Robinson.

They moved to California in 1946, where Robinson worked for the Lawrence Livermore Lab. Later, she and her husband opened their own real estate office in San Leandro/ San Lorenzo. They later moved to Turlock, Calif., and she worked for Magna Mortgage in Modesto. Robinson loved activities that centered on family and friends whether it was dancing, camping and fishing at Feather River or playing bridge and golfing at the Turlock Country Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; and son, Mark. She issurvived by son, Jon, daughter-in-law, Claudette, grandchildren, Cris (wife Annie) and Terrence Robinson and great grandson, Nicolas.
