Bonnie Kay Davidson Heatherly

Bonnie Kay Davidson Heatherly, a resident of Manteca and a Lab retiree, died Dec. 9, at her home in Manteca, after a lengthy illness. She was 54.

Heatherly attended elementary school in Hayward and Fremont. She graduated from Livermore High School in 1972. She spent most of her life in Livermore but recently lived in Manteca and Turlock.

She worked in the Lab’s Shipping and Receiving Department from 1987 to 2007.

She is survived by her daughter Nonnie Ridgwell and son-in-law, Jim; parents Helen Davidson and Wilmer Davidson; sisters Margaret Giannini and Paula Mueller; brother Tony Davidson; and grandchildren Brandon, Jacob and Nicholas Ridgwell.

Heatherly was a generous, kind hearted, humorous person who loved and cherished her family and friends. She was happy cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved volunteering in her community.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at the Parkview Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, CA.
