Benjamin Nicholas Casses

Benjamin Nicholas Casses died August 16. He was 45.

Casses was born Oct. 17, 1977, as the eldest child of Chris Casses and Suzanne Post. He spent his early years in Vero Beach, Florida. He later moved to North Carolina where he began running his own company, Computer Solutions of Franklin, from 2006 to 2009.  He graduated from West Carolina University in 2012 with a bachelor of science in computer science and a bachelor of science in mathematics. He went on to graduate with a master of science in computer science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014. He came to work at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 2014 as a software developer in Livermore computing. He worked on developing and maintaining acceptance test frameworks for supercomputers and associated file systems.  

Casses is survived by his wife, Ashley Casses; mother, Suzanne Post; father, Chris Casses; sister, Camille Casses; and brother, Byron Casses.
