Albert Henry Streicher

Albert Henry Streicher, a Lab retiree and a former resident of Livermore, died April 1, in Tucson, Ariz. from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. He was 87.

Born Nov. 8, 1922, Streicher was a mechanical engineer at the Lab until his retirement in 1985.

He was among the founding members of Temple Beth Emek. He enjoyed photography and music, and had the ability to repair anything.

Streicher is survived by his wife Darlene Livney Gordon Streicher; his children, Ann Robin Padilla and Ralph Streicher; brother Dr. Laurence Streicher; grandchildren Tina Del Core, Carina Johnston and David Padilla; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He also is survived by three step-children and four step-grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by his first wife Saraellen Cibull Streicher, his brother Daniel Streicher and his granddaughter Sarah Joy Streicher.

Services were held in Santa Rosa on April 7.
