Summer 'Fun with Science' scheduled

Family and friends of Lab employees are invited to a special summer series of the popular "Fun with Science" show hosted by the Lab's Public Affairs Office. Shows are scheduled for:

Saturday, July 14

Time: 10:30 a.m. - noon

Location: Discovery Center, Bldg. 651

Thursday, July 26

Time: 1:30-3 p.m.

Location: Discovery Center, Bldg. 651

Saturday, August 4

Time: 10:30 a.m. - noon

Time: 1:30 - 3 p.m.

Designed for children at the fifth grade level (though it can also be enjoyed by children younger and older), Fun with Science is intended to spark kids' interest in science through entertaining demonstrations and hands-on activities.

Space is limited, so reservations are required. Children must be accompanied by an adult chaperone. Call 3-3272 or write to superscience [at] llnl.gov (SuperScience). The Discovery Center is located in an open area at the Laboratory's East Gate. No badging is required.
