Statement on Secretary Abraham's Security Initiatives for the Department of Energy

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory wholeheartedly supports the initiatives announced today by Secretary Spencer Abraham. We share the Secretary's commitment to enhanced security and to ensuring a safe laboratory. Over the past year, we have continually sought ways to improve our security posture and to apply the best industry practices. We look forward to working closely with the Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Administration to implement the Secretary's plans.
