Results of employee survey will be unveiled next week at special all-hands meeting

Results of the recent employee survey, "Assessing the Workplace," will be unveiled next week during a special all-hands meeting at 2 p.m. in Bldg. 123, Thursday afternoon, Sept. 6. All employees are encouraged to attend or watch the live broadcast on Lab TV Channel 2.

International Survey Research, the firm that conducted the survey, will discuss the results with employees and take questions. ISR will present results from the questions only. The employee comment portion of the survey is still being reviewed.

Following the presentation, the Lab’s Survey Action Steering Committee will analyze the results to determine thrust areas to be addressed by Survey Action Teams. Steering committee members include Deputy Director Jeff Wadsworth, ADs Jan Tulk and Spiros Dimolitsas, Human Resources Manager Gloria Kwei, Affirmative Action & Diversity Program Director Tommy Smith, Monya Lane of the Engineering Directorate, Dave Leary of Public Affairs and Lynda Yon and Lamar Coleman from the Director’s Office. Survey Action Teams have not been named.

Survey results will be posted on the Web. Employee comments are still being carefully reviewed to ensure anonymity. Those comments will made available to employees at a later date.

Broadcasts of the all-hands meeting will continue throughout Thursday following the presentation. A streaming video of the presentation will also be viewable through a Web browser (details will be published in NewsOnLine).
