Safety is a top priority at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and it continues to be one of our core values. Upon learning of this incident, Laboratory management responded immediately with a series of comprehensive actions to prevent a recurrence. The employee involved had no health effects. It has now been one year since this incident and we believe the corrective actions that LLNL instituted will ensure that the Laboratory remains a safe place to work.
