Randy Pico, Engineering Directorate senior superintendent and safety officer, received a distinguished honor from DeVry University. Pico was selected from an alumni pool of more than 200,000 members when he was honored as a member of The Pinnacle .

The Pinnacle was developed in recognition of DeVry's 80-year history. The Alumni Association and DeVry recognized 50 past graduates in a publication as well as through the creation of a scholarship fund.  The Pinnacle Scholarship will be awarded to 50 DeVry and Keller adult undergraduate or graduate students, totaling up to $1,125,000 during the next five years. Pico accepted his Pinnacle award on June 11 in Los Angeles, Ca.

The Pinnacle focuses on the "unsung heroes and hidden gems" working for great companies, influencing tomorrow's leaders, and affecting policy in business and technology. It is designed to highlight the value of a DeVry and Keller education to prospective and current students, employers, licensing agencies, government officials and the community at large.
