Lab Scientist/UCLA Professor To Discuss "Ice Ages And Global Warming" At UC Davis Seminar Series
Who: Michael Ghil, director of the Institute of Geophysics & Planetary Physics and a professor of atmospheric sciences at UCLA, will discuss "Ice Ages and Global Warming."
What: Dr. Ghils talk is part of the UC Davis Seminar Series at the Department of Applied Science, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Ghil will cover the nature and some of the causes of climate variability, from Quaternary ice ages to interdecadal changes in the oceans' overturning circulation.
When: Monday, April 9, @ 3:00 p.m.
Where: Bldg. 661, Room 7. Seating is limited.
