Media advisory: LLNL employees donate record $3 million for local community; city officials, non-profit agencies to honor Laboratory
| WHO: | Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory employees will be honored for donating $3 million through the annual Helping Others More Effectively (HOME) Campaign. |
| WHAT: | The HOME Campaign is one of the valley’s most generous annual charity drives, and is a major community support activity for LLNL. The HOME Campaign benefits local non-profit agencies and umbrella groups, improving and advancing the daily lives of neighbors across the Tri-Valley and Central Valley. LLNL employees broke a record in 2009 by contributing more than $3 million. Local city officials and non-profit agencies will be on hand to honor employees for their generous donations. |
