Media advisory: Livermore Lab presents panel discussion in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

WHO: Employees at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory will participate in the annual Martin Luther King Day observance.
WHAT:

The historic inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th president of the United States poses the question, "Does the inauguration of Barack Obama signify the attainment of Dr. King’s Dream?"  This is the topic of this year’s Martin Luther King Day presentation, "Attaining the Dream?"

After viewing the inauguration events from Washington D.C., a discussion will begin with comments from a diverse panel of Laboratory managers and employees, followed by audience participation.

WHEN: Tuesday, January 20, 10:30 a.m. to noon.
WHERE: Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Bldg. 123 auditorium
