The Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (LLNS) is ushering in a new era of giving to the community through its newly established Corporate Giving Program.
The LLNS Board of Governors has committed a Corporate Giving Program that benefits neighboring communities of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). The program includes a recent matching of $1 million to the Lab's HOME Campaign (Helping Others More Effectively ) that benefits community/nonprofit agencies in the Tri Valley, San Joaquin Valley and Greater Bay Area.
LLNS assumed management of the Laboratory on Oct. 1. The HOME matching and gift funds will be taken from the management fee LLNS receives from the U.S. Department of Energy to manage the Laboratory.
