LLNL/LPC present second annual seminar series

The Lab and Las Positas College will offer the second annual "Science and Engineering Seminar Series --  Theory to Practice: How Science Gets Done."

The series kicks off Monday, Oct. 3, from 6-7:15 p.m. at Las Positas College with the talk "Restoring Sight to the Blind," presented by the Sat Pannu, section leader for the Lab's Center for Micro and Nano-Technology, along with Kedar Shah, Heeral Sheth, Vanessa Tolosa, and Angela Tooker, also of LLNL.

This series provides LLNL scientists and engineers a forum to share a broad range of basic and applied research with LPC faculty and students. The presentations will be interdisciplinary in nature and focus on how science is applied to solve problems from theory to practice. The seminars are targeted to run about 45 minutes, with another 30 minutes allocated for questions and answers .

Admission is free and seating is first come,-first served. For more information, go to the Las Positas College Website.
