'Fun With Science' at the Discovery Center

The Lab's Public Affairs Office will present a "summer session" of "Fun With Science" at the Lab's Discovery Center (Bldg. 651) on Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Designed for children at the fifth grade level (though it can be enjoyed by children younger and older, as well), Fun with Science is intended to spark kids' interest in science through entertaining demonstrations and hands-on activities. Space is limited to 39 guests, so reservations are required by calling (925) 423-3272. The Discovery Center is located in an open area at the Laboratory's East Gate. No badging is required.

Teacher academy poster session

Local teachers enrolled in the Lab's Teacher Research Academy programs prepared to return to their classrooms.
