  • As a subject matter expert, strategically anticipate, identify, and provide technical leadership on new modeling methodologies and codes that can be used to tackle modeling problems of high complexity and/or new technologies or components that can enable cost-efficient and time-efficient design/build of new or upgraded pulsed power systems.
  • Develop and roll out technical strategies for optimal methods, techniques, and analysis criteria utilized when modeling complex systems.

Qualifications

  • This position requires an active Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance or active Top Secret clearance issued by another U.S. government agency at the time of hire.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical science, or related field or the equivalent combination of education and previous relevant experience.
