Patricia M. Olcomendy

Patricia Maria Olcomendy, of San Francisco, died Sept. 30. She was 82.

Olcomendy was born in San Francisco to parents Russell and Kathleen Berti.

She graduated from Lone Mountain College in June 1957 and worked as a computer programmer at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

After raising her family, Olcomendy returned to school and received a Juris Doctorate from the Hastings School of Law in May 1985 and proceeded to practice law as a partner at the firm of Dreher, Garfinkle and Watson before her retirement.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late Honorable J. Dominique Olcomendy, her cherished son, the late Inspector Brian Olcomendy of the San Francisco Police Department, and her devoted son-in-law, Kevin Egan.

She is survived by four daughters, Elaine (Brendan) Falvey, Teresa Olcomendy, Yvonne Olcomendy and Nicole (Gary) Adams; daughter-in-law, Andrea Olcomendy; nine grandchildren: Ryan, Chris and Aileen Falvey, Nick and Alex Egan, Joe Olcomendy and Frank, Kristen and Melissa Olcomendy. Olcomendy also is survived by many loving friends who shall miss her spirit and charm.
