Margaret Cecilia (Peg) Bockover

Margaret ‘Peg’ C. Bockover of Livermore, a former 911 dispatcher for Alameda County Fire, died March 7, following a brief illness. She was 55.

Bockover was born on Nov. 14, 1961 in Phoenix, Arizona to Gerald and Norma Caldwell.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; sons, Sean Frost of Oakland, Brian (Rachel) of Paradise, California and Steven (Kelly) of Sacramento; grandchildren, Michael Bunce and Aria Bockover, Paradise; sisters, Mary Lindsay of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Teresa Hill of Salem, Oregon, Claudia Nell (Len) of York, South Carolina and Michele Noble (Duane) of Camano Island, Washington; brothers, Gerald Caldwell and Steven (Shelly) Caldwell, all of Glendale, Arizona; foster mother, Alice Hart of Mayer, Arizona; foster sisters, Toni Lindner (Robert) of Peoria, Arizona and Cherri Gunnels of Youngstown, Arizona. She also is survived by a large number of loving extended family and close friends.

Bockover worked at LLNL as a security officer and dispatcher prior to working at the Alameda County Regional Dispatch Center. She also was a member of the Crossroads Fellowship in Livermore.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. today (Thursday, March 17) at the Callaghan Mortuary, 3833 East Ave. Livermore. A celebration of life will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Guide Dogs for the Blind at 350 Los Ranchitos Road, San Rafael, CA 94903.
