James Tom Letras

James Tom Letras, a former senior technical coordinator, died June 3. He was 67.

Letras was hired as a Lawrence Livermore Laboratory employee in 2002 and he retired in December 2017. He was a senior technical coordinator in the Manufacturing Engineering Section.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Letras; his daughter Amy (John) LaRosa; sons Tom (Toni) Letras, Josh (Maegan) Letras, Richard (DeAnna) Millentree; and several grandchildren; siblings Linda (Ron) Coolidge and Rhonda (Roy) Wells; and father Thomas (Roz) Letras. He was preceded in death by his mother Lois Harmon.

A celebration of life will be held at New Life Christian Center in Turlock on Saturday, June 15, at 10:30 a.m.
