Teresa Jean “Terri” Mendoza
Teresa Jean “Terri” Mendoza died June 13, 2026. She was 68.
Born at Saint Paul’s Hospital in Livermore on Oct. 17, 1957, she was the cherished daughter of Joe and Elvira Rodriguez. She grew up in Livermore and graduated from Granada High School in 1975. She continued her education at Las Positas College, building the foundation for the career and friendships that would follow. For 35 years, Terri worked as an administrative assistant at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Her colleagues remember her as warm and always cheerful with a smile.
She is survived by her son Jason Mendoza of Martinez and daughter-in-law Ariana Brookes, and her daughter Jenni Dahl of Livermore and son-in-law Daniel Dahl; her grandchildren Ava, Bina, Olivia, Hunter, and Dylan; her sister, Jannette Tootle, and her brother-in-law Herb Tootle of Livermore; her sister-in-law Kathy McRoberts and her husband Rick of Stockton, and her sister-in-law Misty Riendeau of Livermore.
A Mass will be held on Sept. 12, 10-11a.m., at St. Charles Church in Livermore, followed by a celebration of life at Poppy Ridge in Livermore, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
