David Potter died Feb. 25. He was 77.
Potter was born and raised in Berkeley, California. He split his career as an auditor, spending his first 20 years working for the federal government in San Francisco at the Government Accountability Office and then for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Jane Urish Potter, and stepson, R. Scott Stimson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elinor Giguette and Archie Potter, and brother Kenneth Potter.
Services will be Saturday, June 3, at 1 p.m., at Bethel Presbyterian, 14235 Bancroft Ave., San Leandro.
