Cynthia Leigh Keifer

Keifer was born on Sept. 24, 1957, in Florence, Oregon to Lee and Sharon Hargrove.

She lived in Klamath Falls and Grants Pass, Oregon. She attended Grants Pass High School where she met her husband, Patrick. They moved to Livermore in 1975.

She began her career with office work at Kaiser Sand and Gravel and then Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, starting as an administrative assistant. She continued to advance her career, moving into business services and then into more technical roles. Her final position was as a computer security specialist when she retired in 2012.

She will be forever remembered by her husband, mother, Sharon, sister, Lori, brother, Leland, son, Michael and wife, Jennifer, son, Brian, four grandchildren as well as many other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her father, Lee.
