Clay Widmayer died June 26. He was 64.
Widmayer was born in Walla Walla, Washington, on June 16, 1960 and received his education at Whitman College and the University of Oregon. In 1995, he accepted a position in the laser program (later known as NIF and Photon Science) at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
