Charles W. Hartman

Charles W. Hartman died June 18, 2024. He was 91.

Hartman was born in Denver, Colorado to Fred and Marie (Krieger) Hartman. He spent his youth in Seattle, Washington and Sacramento, California. He earned his bachelor's of science at University of California, Berkeley. double majoring in electrical engineering and physics. He then earned his Ph.D. in physics and worked an illustrious lifetime career at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Hartman’s life will be celebrated on Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. The service and reception will be held at Danville Congregational Church, 989 San Ramon Valley Blvd., Danville. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Heifer International,  World Vision or a charity of your choice.
