Aileen Perez

Aileen Perez died July 3, 2026. She was 26.  

Perez was born in Mission, Texas. She graduated from IDEA public schools before earning her bachelor of science in computer science from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She later fulfilled her dream of working in her field at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, California, where she was respected for her dedication, professionalism and strong work ethic.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Juan Perez. She is lovingly survived by her devoted mother, Dora E. Perez; her sister Cecilia Varela and husband, Rick Varela; her sister Cindy Bond and husband, Lynn Bond; her sister Janice Cateni and husband, Raphaël Cateni; her brother Overlin Perez and wife, Karina Perez; her two nephews, two nieces, one grandnephew, one grandniece, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, coworkers and dear friends who will forever cherish the blessing of having known and loved her.
