2026 LLNS Community Gift Program applications due Aug. 17
Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (LLNS), the contractor for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, is accepting applications for its 2026 Community Gift Program, which supports local initiatives, particularly public K-14 STEAM education programs and projects.
Up to $220,000 in community gifts is available, with individual awards typically ranging from $500 to $15,000. Eligible applicants include publicly funded California K-14 schools, community colleges, IRS-qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofits and government agencies serving the Tri-Valley and Alameda, Contra Costa and San Joaquin counties.
Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, 2026. Award checks will be distributed in November 2026.
