Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory to host summer career fair 2024
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) empowers multidisciplinary teams to pursue big ideas using innovative science and technology to meet the national security mission and make the world a better place — and the Lab is growing every day.
To recruit prospective employees for more than 150 open positions, LLNL is hosting a summer on-site career fair to share firsthand what the Laboratory has to offer. The career fair will be held at 2300 Greenville Road, Livermore on Thursday, June 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pre-registration is not required but encouraged. Register here. See the flyer.
The Lab is seeking to add to its workforce in a variety of career areas including but not exclusive to administrative, construction, craft and skilled trades, science, engineering, technicians, IT and safety and security professionals.
Attendees will be able to visit career booths to talk with hiring teams and learn about their opportunities. In addition, LLNL will have two resume 101 workshops, sharing best practices and providing one-on-one resume reviews with recruiters.
To prepare for the event, attendees can review resume and interviewing tips, see resume templates and more on the LLNL careers website.
Several organizations at LLNL have scheduled information sessions during the career fair that will provide an overview and how they contribute to the mission. Organizations include:
- Strategic Deterrence – 10 a.m.
- Engineering – 10:40 a.m.
- Operations & Business – 11:30 a.m.
- Global Security – 12:10 p.m.
