LLNL offers 'Fun With Science' all summer

Fun With Science (Download Image) Family and friends of LLNL employees are invited to attend free Fun With Science shows this summer. Fun With Science is intended to spark kids' interest in science through entertaining demonstrations and hands-on activities.

Family and friends of Lab employees are invited to attend Fun With Science this summer, hosted by the Lab's Public Affairs Office. 

Designed for children at the fifth grade level (though it also can be enjoyed by children younger and older), Fun With Science is intended to spark kids' interest in science through entertaining demonstrations and hands-on activities. Shows are led by a variety of presenters and are held at the Discovery Center in Bldg. 651. This summer, there will be sessions designated for specific age groups. Space is limited, registration is required. To register, click on the preferred date below. You will be redirected to Sign Up Genius to register.

1st through 3rd grade, 1:30-2:30 p.m.:

4th through 8th grade, 1:30-3 p.m.:

The Discovery Center is located just outside the Laboratory's East Gate off Greenville Road. No badging is required. Admission is free and each session of Fun With Science is the same.

Children must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
